Yoga & Movement Therapy merges my love of moving the body and my interest in self-healing, an approach that teaches us how to take care of ourselves.
I'm currently completing Functional Synergy 1000-hour *IAYT Accredited Yoga Therapy Certification Program with Susi Hately, kinesiologist and yoga therapist based in Calgary, studying with a small group of talented colleagues from all over North America. I was drawn to her statement that the body can shift at any age under any circumstances it’s in. The program has been a transformative experience of uncovering myself. One of the most important things I've learned is that I need support to have the courage and compassion to go through the process of self-reflection. I realized that I can’t and don’t have to do it all by myself. I’m excited about supporting my clients on their path to healing.
In my sessions, I use wide range of tools I learned from all my trainings, including therapeutic yoga, neurodevelopmental movements, reflex integration, somatics, meditation and Ayurveda. I provide a safe space for my clients to feel the body, as I know it could be unfamiliar or scary. It's so worth it to get in touch with the body and the feeling, when I see how life feels fuller for me now.
